We have a game today? Would have never known it due to this apathy level.

Re: Official ISU vs Nebraska In-Game Thread

couple of things from the Nebraska side:

1 - Offensive Coordiantor says that the offense hasn't even begun to "open things up"

2 - rumors all over various message boards is that Callahan will have a role in defensive game planning and calling defensive plays today. Wether this plays out or not, I don't know.

Injuries:

LB Lance Brandenburgh is suited up, not expected to play unless he's needed

Good luck, guys.

Has not began to open things up? Sounds like a grasping at straws excuse for poor play.

Trick plays....

Edit to add the following:

Omaha.com Sports Section

"There are a lot of things that you hold in your hip pocket, because you don't want to show them if you don't need to show them," Watson said today during the Big Red Breakfast at the Holiday Convention Centre.

The coach referred specifically to misdirection and gadget plays.

The Huskers, perhaps you've noticed, have unveiled little, if any, of the trickery that helped them beat Colorado and Missouri last year.

"You use them in the conference season, which is so important to where we end up and where we go," Watson said. "We've purposely, in all honesty, held things."

He's still questionable for the sore shoulder. He should be able to play.
