9-0. Run but with the Bucks going ice cold for 4 mins they needed to get it closer.

Credit the Pacers for not giving up on this one (I thought it was over when they were down 30 and at least made it somewhat of a game before the end of the 3rd Q), but this just isn't their night.

5 shots.

And 1 was a rebound and put back.

So 4 shots from the field.

I’m sorry. Love Tyrese but you have to take more shots if you don’t want to get blown out.

Must have been the game plan to play through Pascal or Miles. It sure as heck didn't seem like the rest of the team were interested in getting Tyrese involved off the ball.
Tyrese passed up two shots in the first 3 minutes of the game.

He drove into the basket multiple times and passed to guys that Bricked.

Keep doing that and lose in 4 games

Playoff ball is just different and wonder if something threw Hali for a loop.

Game 1 home team blitzes are real too. Fact is he hasn’t been in the playoffs before, so going to have some adjustment.

Watched them the whole year. Ever since coming back from his hammy injury Tyrese hasn't been the same. Early in games since then he hasn't looked for his shot nearly as much. Maybe Rick has been trying to keep his workload down, because Hali isn't even the primary ball handler a lot of the possessions in the half-court. Incorporating Siakam has taken the ball out of his hands much more too. Hell, McConnell has looked to score way more that Hali has post-All Star break. But they were still winning enough games to avoid the play-in despite this.
I expect it to be more competitive the next game, and in Gainbridge for 3 & 4. But the playoffs are different, so who knows. There's another notch of intensity that they weren't prepared for, being so many haven't played a playoff game until tonight. Those guys bricking shots in game 1 have been making them all year, and as a team they were 25 points under their season average tonight. So hopefully those shots start falling during the rest of the series, or they'll be toast.

Well, then Carlisle just got absolutely schooled. If Pascal and Miles got that many shots off of Tyrese making things happen, that would be one thing. There were so many possessions were he was getting the ball to one of those two and then they cleared out and let them go to work, usually taking a contested shot.
