The lots are fine, but there is plenty of off-street parking with 5 blocks if you are willing to walk. These are metered although they sometimes raise the rates during events. There are also several garages, the nearest at 13th and Capitol. Usually only $5 (not sure on the rate for the tournament though) You could also try to park near the new science museum on the riverfront and take the smaller pedestrian bridge over the train tracks.Anyone have any parking tips for the CHI Health center? Is it better to just park in the main lots or are there better spots?
At Wells Fargo I always park across the river and walk over the bridge. It's much easier to get out of than dealing with the main parking lot traffic before and after.
If it is decent weather park in Council Bluffs and walk the bridge? I am pretty sure it is free public parking on the east side of the river? Then afterwards no traffic! 1.2 miles. Google say it takes 26 minutes to walk 1.2 miles. If it take that long for you to walk that far, park at the casinos and uber. The lots are fine, but there is plenty of off-street parking with 5 blocks if you are willing to walk. You could do that but that is a lot further walk until they get the new pedestrian bridge open that links to the baseball stadium. If it is decent park in Council Bluffs and walk the bridge? Am I the only one that had no idea downtown Omaha now has so many of the same bars as the Court Avenue District in Des Moines? Beer Can Alley, Exchange, Stuffed Olive, Annie's. I keep having to do a double take on the alumni association plans and We Will plans that I'm looking in the right city.
Looking forward to checking them all out this weekend!
ISU alum owners. It’s also weird that BCA & Exchange don’t exist in DSM anymore.
Has there been anything announced for spirit rally before the game or women's game watch on Friday? Been checking the Alumni Association and Cyclones.com pages for anything regarding some ISU related stuff going on in Omaha and have not seen anything yet.

That sucks
That's too bad. They did a last minute rally for the 2nd round in Denver at a gym on the campus across from the Pepsi...err.. Ball Arena. And since it was so last minute they weren't able to get liquor permits so the brewery there donated a bunch of kegs which were given out free. It was lovely!I have been told no organized pep rally's till sweet 16. So nothing in Omaha. Not sure about a game watch Friday Night.
I asked the Beer Can Alley management. They are looking into it. I’ll find out and post tomorrow.Does anyone know if Beer Can Alley will have ESPN+ to watch wrestling this weekend as well?
I know it's not a full pep rally but it looks like there's at least a send off for the team:
We'll be there Saturday but not today.
About four months ago, someone damn fool scheduled a a colonoscopy for today without looking at the calendar.
Me, okay? It was me. I'll be lucky to stay awake watching the game today.
Surely they have ESPN and ESPNU don't they?Does anyone know if Beer Can Alley will have ESPN+ to watch wrestling this weekend as well?
