I've had a song from Trolls stuck in my head for a couple days now. "Hey! There's nothing getting in my way!"

I tried to have Z watch Trolls with me on youtube.... Z wasn't a fan.

My 4 yr old is OBSESSED. She has worn the same outfit everyday for the past 3-4 weeks because she thinks it looks like what Branch wears.

"Just the most recent years, and especially ones for the early American survey."
So, most recent years. I'm guessing 3?

I would do last semester and two years before. Especially if the semester before that was good, that way you can say, if you want another I'm more than happy to get more.

I wish now that summer courses had evals. That's two for the survey course that don't exist, but ISU didn't change for me.

We've never met, but she used her first name to sign off. That always leaves me wondering how to address the follow-up.

I think I'm sticking with professional and titled, just to play it safe right now.

I made brownie bites earlier this week. My oldest had a friend over to work on homework so I made them as treats for them, but I think I have eaten most of them. They are good with coffee for breakfast.

First outdoor softball games for us (and ISU) this weekend. Saturday forecast is 80% chance of rain in the morning into the afternoon and high of 46. Perfect.

Gotta love freezing-your-ass-off April softball. Oh wait, that's right, it's still March.

I have a feeling this may become a one day tournament. Weather has it raining through 3-5pm, I am hoping they aren't going to play in wet and 40 degrees. At least we don't have the 8am games.

I don't have a really good place to put this, so I'm going to post it here in the random thoughts thread.

I cured and smoked my own bacon this week for the first time. Took it and sliced it up last night and I'm really proud of how it turned out. I'm going to try some different rubs/cures/smokes moving forward to try some new things.
