Yeah its not an opinion piece, and he never said the officiating was bad. All he did was use quotes from players who said officiating was bad.

I don't think the article was that bad-- facts and quotes-- although it's missing that whole piece about Iowa being gifted 2 points, and that alot of the fouls were actually fouls.

Also, totally comical that Jok thought he was fouled. Replay showed it wasn't even close to a foul.

The one the Iowa fan I was with got riled up about was the alleged shove out of bounds when Pemsl flew out of bounds and turned it over. I also thought that was a good no-call, limited contact and Pemsl just appeared to lose his balance.

If anything, Pemsi pushed himself off his defender on that one. It looked bad live, but the replay showed it was a good no call.

I guess imo if you're going to be a journalist and write the "story", then you might want to include the main parts of the "story".

Seriously though it's pretty pathetic. Awhile back he put out an article about how UNI was more of a rival than ISU was to Iowa. He also complained that CMC didn't rank Iowa in football.

He's the same guy that blocked me last month when I told him 29 other D1 coaches didn't vote for CMC either.
