Without starting a long discussion in this thread, does anyone "know" how long, or if he has to sit out? By the way, where is Oakland at exactly?
It's in Michigan (which is why Percy and SDW, both from Michigan, are transferring to Oakland) and SDW will likely have to sit out until second semester of next year, like McKay did this year. AKA one year from now, SDW will have just played his first few games.
Good for SDW, that'll be a nice spot for him. Won't be shocked to see him contributing on an NCAA tournament team
I think it's been proven that you can't build a program off talented transfers......stupid Oakland.
Oakland could be really good next year. Their record this year is pretty bad but that's because they've played a hell of a schedule. They're 1-0 in conference. Also, their best player is only a sophomore (17 ppg, 7 apg, 4 rpg) and when you add SDW, they could have a really nice backcourt duo. Percy will get some legit playing time and he can probably contribute at that level.
