A week from this weekend. The guys going to Scuffle plus some extras are back in Ames practicing. I heard we are taking 15.

Hall, Bauer, (maybe Terukina at 133), G Moreno, Goettl, Molina, Nicholson, Powell, M Moreno, Weatherman, Weatherspoon, Beard, Gadson, and 2 hwts (I assume Smith, but not sure on the other)

I thought maybe Larson would go at 125, but haven't heard that.

Seeds Announced for the 2014 Southern Scuffle

There are 34 teams in this year’s tournament, one of the biggest in the history of the event. While the quantity has grown, the quality certainly has not taken a hit. All totaled, there are 34 All-Americans, eight NCAA finalists and a host of Scuffle placers returning for the Jan. 1-2 showcase.

Man 165 and 197 looks awesome.. I have always been a fan of going to the midlands just for the tradition, but starting to be happy with us going to the scuffle. Great chance for our guys to see exactly where they are at against undoubtedly some of the top competition (outside the NCAA's) and help see what they need to work on.

Best match of the day. Tanner gets thown to his back at end 2nd against Johnston of Missouri and down 6-0 to start the 3rd and gets 6 td and a stall point in the 3rd to win 13-10. 13 points in the 3rd!!!

Goose aka Tanner was insane in that 3rd period. Twitter is blowing up from everyone outside of CyclONEnation talking about that crazy take down clinic he put on in the 3rd. I'm excited for him, if he could just learn not to get caught in some weird places early in his matches, he could be an offensive team point scoring machine in March
