Exile needs to just team up with 515. 515 has the good beer and Exile has good production capabilities.

Lion Bridge is excellent; they probably brew the single best beer in Iowa (Workman's Comp).
Is this a fairly recent release? The gal and I went there the first week it opened. We moved from Cedar Rapids about a month later so I haven't been back. I do remember liking their Maximillion beer or whatever it's called.

I'm with you there. Blonde Fatale is some real good stuff.

Had my first Blonde Fatale tonight at Buzzard Billie's. It's good but a bit too fruity for me. Switched to Confluence DSM IPA and was very happy. I haven't been to BB in a few years and was surprised by the selection of beer. Food was real good too

We're going from being 10 times smaller than Exile to just 4 times smaller than Exile in the next couple weeks!

Also expect Exile to get a boost in perception soon....

Not the biggest fan of big Grove personally. The spur is decent, but other than that beer none of them have really stuck out as being that enjoyable. Great potential though. Food is pretty good. Then again I might just be picky when it comes to beers.

I'm just happy there is an argument to be made about who is in the top ten, not does Iowa have 10 good breweries as might have been the case 5 years ago. I'd put my ranking as this:

1. Toppling
2. West-O
3. Fire Trucker
4. Big Grove
5. Alluvial
6. Confluence
7. 515
8. Lions Bridge
9. Peace Tree
10. Exile

Last: Old Main...really hoping Alluvial or Torrent can take over the space.
