I don’t think it was an accident. Clark meant to run into her.
Clark, while trying to exit the floor amid an immediate court-storming, collided hard with a charging Ohio State fan trying to film the madness. Clark was in pain as she was escorted to the locker room by a policeman with teammates by her side.

Ohio State coach Kevin McGuff apologized for the incident, and Clark said Buckeyes AD Gene Smith did the same. Clark was diplomatic in her assessment of the situation. Her head coach was more direct with the frustration.

"It's unfortunate the game ended that way, Caitlin gets taken out on the floor," Bluder said. "Gets some inappropriate words yelled at her by fans and students. That just should not happen. It should not happen.

"Our players should be safe. They should be able to walk off the floor. That's very disappointing. Ohio State — great team, great environment — but obviously very disappointed with the postgame, our players getting injured trying to walk out of the gym. That's wrong."

My feeling is that she will move on after this season but if she did come back NIL wouldn't be a factor. She doesn't get anything from Swarm now since she already has her national endorsements.

If I were her I'd do a little "Taking my talents to South Beach" either by going somewhere with a loaded team or bringing in a Wade and Bosh to Iowa City and point out to them she doesn't need to break any more records and just wants a championship.

Does she have a reasonable chance of being on the 2024 Olympic team? She could do that a few months after the season.

I know for the men's olympics team if you aren't already somewhat in the system you'd be a bit of a long shot for 2024 but they'd ignore that if there was a LeBron level player just coming out of college.

That's a lot of games for CC is going to have to sit out between getting injured and Bluder suspending her for all of her cursing during the games.

Are they thinking they'll have her back for the NCAA tournment?

I think the inappropriate words comment is more funny than the collision. Grow up. Probably upset the Ohio State fans weren’t rooting for CC. Iowas fans treat their own players worse than tOSU treated CC.

Bluder and CC are just inviting more and more hatred from opposing teams. They're gonna have a major bullseye on their backs come tourney time.
