He also threw out there if you are looking for teams that can win it all the Big 10 consistently has those teams…
"Consistently" is an interesting choice of word
Let's see....
Purdue - lucky to make it out of the first weekend. Maybe they can beat a 16 this year?
Indiana - this ain't the 70s and 80s anymore (haven't made a Sweet 16 in 8 years)
Illinois - haven't made it out of the first round in 19 years since their title game loss in 2005.
Wisconsin - haven't made a sweet 16 in 7 years
Michigan State - Probably the best choice for this category except they're garbage this year
Maryland - hey they won a title (in the ACC over 20 years ago) -haven't made a sweet 16 in 20 years.
Michigan - tho some recent tournament success, hot garbage at 6-9 this year
Ohio State - haven't made a sweet 16 in 11 years
Minnesota - haven't been to a sweet 16 in 27 since their final four run in 1997 (that was vacated). Only 2 NCAA wins in the last 27 years.
Nebraska - nice win last night but LOL
Northwestern - LOL
Penn State - LOL
Rutgers - LOL
Iowa - 9064 days of LOLOL
