Lexi was 2/14, no assists or boards in a road loss to BC. Upside was 2 steals and 6/6 at the line. Curious if she wants to play overseas, not much chance of a WNBA tryout.

She still has her COVID year so I would think she would play another year in college.

Would make sense after transferring also. Get two complete years at your new university to finish and round out your degree with maybe extra classes in a particular focus area or maybe even intern somewhere local.

I would agree with you as I don't think that pro ball is in her future.

With Molly Davis likely having a career ending knee injury Feuerbach is getting some minutes in the 2nd half. Playing some inspired defense, three steals and drew a charge with the Hawks going a bit bigger with Davis gone.

The charge on the sideline was a bad call, but she is playing very well.

She is not walking with UNC seniors this afternoon, so my guess would be she is returning for another year.

Has Lexi had a breakout year? No, but she is still averaging over 11ppg in ACC play and shooting 35% from 3. I think most coaches would take that kind of production.

She has done OK there starts, plays most of the game does not have much bench time

I would say that she did not find what she was looking for. Statistically, the worst season of her career.
Lowest points, rebounds, and assists.
197 3pt attempts to only 100 2pt attempts. Basically relegated to just a 3pt shooter.
35% is not awful but not amazing. At isu she shot: 41%, 37%, and 32%.
Only 32 free throw attempts this season. So she is not driving to the basket.

We traded Lexi for Hannah and I think it worked out pretty well for her and for ISU WBB. 37.4% from 3 -
83% FT only shot 24
She made some big shots when it felt like somebody needed to do it and I wasn't 100% sure anyone other than her wanted the responsibility.

2021: conference freshman of the year, all-freshman team,
2022: 1st team all-conference, conference defensive player of the year, all-defensive team
2023: HM all-conference, all-defensive team
2024: nothing

Not the regression Fritz had though. 8 total points scored in conference play after 173 last year.

They have been showing last years tourney on Cyclone TV and you see why many of us were upset when she left for Baylor. It is sad the way they have treated her and I would bet if she had known what was going to happen she would not have gone there.

She went so that she was not pigeon holed into only being the stopper on defense to improve her WNBA stock and it has not worked out in that respect. The numbers on offense haven't improved.

With Molly Davis out for the Hawks, Sydney Affolter will be starting and likely that Kylie Feuerbach moves up to 6th player this weekend in the Big Ten tourney in Mpls. Feurerbach started a few years ago, not like she can't play 6th with her keee back to 100%.
