Tiebreakers rounding into form.

Iowa State owns HTH over Baylor (1-0)
Baylor owns HTH over West Virginia (2-0)
West Virginia over Iowa State due to record vs OU

In a 3-way tie, WVU gets kicked to the bottom of the round-robin (1-3). Baylor and ISU are both 2-1 in the round-robin, so it goes back to HTH (ISU 1, BU 0).

There's also a way that ISU can still end up with the #3 seed, which is crazy.

Seems like the double overtime was just a few days ago instead of two weeks ago. Haven’t followed them to see if Lee has increased her minutes much. The second round battle for Audi will be interesting. Can’t figure out a way to split screen ESPN+ on the TV so going to have to put this on my laptop.

You made me look. Lee is only averaging 26 minutes a game for the season. She played 33 vs ISU in that 50 minute game. Played 26 and 29 in the other two games back. Struggled from the field, 36%, in both games versus another post, Crooks and Jackson of Kansas. She can't be 100%. Wondering if she ever will be. I remember watching her limp around her junior year.

She has struggled since coming back and you have to wonder if she may just really hurt her chances to go high in the WNBA draft.

That might be a bit of an overreach hot take in my opinion. It's been only three games and she wasn't actively practicing on a broken ankle bone with a screw in it so it's a bit of a quick reentry to games.

I'd be more worried about the conference tournament and back-to-back games. Not worth it for her or KSU (IMHO), it's just exhibition before the big March Madness invite and they are already guaranteed a good seed and conference tournaments don't move the needle for top seeds. Heck, they don't move the needle much for anyone barring an upstart winning it.

With her history of injury I do wonder if she can stand up to playing year round in the WNBA and overseas both. She's seemingly had chronic knee issue since her first ACL in Minnesota HS play. She isn't a first round pick in any event. Someone will take a chance at her after the first round.

One of the worst three-point shooting teams in the conference is of course 4/8 against us in the first six minutes of the game.

Refs seem to favor playing through fouls. So I hope we do that.

For a moment I was concerned we aren't calling any fouls on K State in this game.

I'll take 15-18 for a quarter where K State shoots like that.
