It has yet to be determined whether or not Vanloo's coming to Ames, but as a member of the class she has still been issued a number.
The Dismal Register had this back in April from Fennelly (but I can't find the original article):
“She’s going to go through the summer and play on her national team. . . . It’ll be until the middle of the summer until all this shakes out. I told her to focus on playing. Her and her family will field all the offers and then we’ll see.â€
So it may be late in July or later before we know either way. Vanloo had a good visit back in Dec. and that was positive. Then her signing a LOI added hope...still we're hanging on every little bit of news on Julie's next move.
I'm not aware of her. I see a Britta Martin played for Ellsworth CC as a freshman from Boone last season. Same one? If she's planning to play at ISU, I assume it'd be as a walk-on candidate and probably wouldn't be on the roster officially until after the school year starts even if she made the team.
