Don't think mred has started his official wbb 2024 recruiting thread but ISU hosted class of '24 Aili Tanke (5'8" shooting guard) out of Johnston last weekend per her mom's tweet.

Did anybody see who our new assistant director of operations is? I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet.

We offered Veronica Burton today. I can not find much about her.

4+ years later- Channel Surfing the other day and her play made me stop and watch her take down Iowa, dang near singlehandedly. An impressive Floor General

Not a "what if" post, just another example of BB staff's ability to identify "under the radar" talent.

Looking at social media activity, these appear to be the top targets for ISU (although there may be other people who are more under-the-radar). None of them are surprises, and all of them have plenty of offers.

This list excludes ISU verbals and is in no particular order within each year.

2023
Audi Crooks -- 6'3" post from Algona, IA (Algona Garrigan HS)
Jalynn Bristow -- 6'2" forward from Wichita Falls, TX (Rider HS)
Sahara Williams -- 5'11" wing from Waterloo, IA (Waterloo West HS)

2024
Britt Prince -- 5'11" point guard from Elkhorn, NE (Elkhorn North HS)
Olivia Olson -- 6'1" combo guard from St. Louis Park, MN (Benilde-St. Margaret’s HS)

2025
Leah Macy -- 6'2" wing from Bardstown, KY (Louisville Mercy HS)

2026
Jenica Lewis -- 5'9" guard from Johnston, IA (Johnston HS, I assume? Her brother Trey plays there.)

We must have a shot at landing several off that list with our recent high profile.

Nice to see 2024 Prince's Mother is a coach. Britt's top choice from several sources is Oregon. Certainly, Creighton, and maybe Nebbie, which has seen a national rise, are in there, too. Britt is in soccer, Cross country as well as BB. A very complete player, ball handling, outside shots, rebounding, team orientated, she would be a great get.
