Caitlin Clark: “This is just great for women’s basketball, especially in the state of Iowa, to have a crowd like that, to have a student section like that, and I love to see that,” Clark said. “Good for them. I’m glad these fans came out watched two really quality teams. I think that’s just great for women’s basketball and, like I said, the state of Iowa.”

Now that's class.

I agree - let's hope they show up in a big way. Students always add to a game atmosphere. I'm sure our players would love it too!

The did a very nice job of showing up. It was great to have them there.

Did anyone else get tired of the Clark drool fest? She's good, but c'mon! 24 isn't too bad.

You would have thought they were 50 points ahead of us. She's a good player but no better than Ashley. They must have been TOE graduates. Or maybe they flunked out. Idk.

If Clark ever figures out how to drive to the basket more often and not settle for jump shots, she will be unstoppable. As it is, she's an extremely elite shooter, but not great all around.

Iowa settled for way too many jump shots -> hence no free throws.

Bluder screwed up this game all on her own. The only obvious mis-match on the entire court was Czinano, and they waited until the 3rd quarter to really go to her, and then they stopped as Clark started jacking up 3s when they needed a good possession. They should have been running the offense through Czinano the entire game. I think they would have won if they had.

Watched the tv highlights clip, of course we would get Pam (aka Paul) Ward doing our game. She is a brutal listen and I feel for those that had to endure that.

Nice win tonight, excellent back and forth game. Emily Ryan was a theft specialist tonight. Great game by MEM. Joens did her usual good things I was happy with our post play. Caitlin Clark has pointy elbows and isn't afraid to use them. Bluder cries more to the refs than a baby wanting it's bottle.
Nicely attended there was plenty of room in the balcony, crowd was enthused but not riled up too much. That call when Clark(?) tripped over her own feet and the reversed foul call in the 1st half were about as rowdy it got. Some really nice crowd noise while we were playing defense quite a few times.

Late in the game, Emily was surrounded and ISU called time. BF looked furious with Emily. The Hawks no doubt wanted a jump ball. It was reminiscent of the trap by A&M last year. I don’t know how that trap happens without fouling and what the offensive player is supposed to do.

Clark would make us the most talented team in the nation BUT I also think the ball gets stuck in her hands too much and the scheme of just come up the court and do whatever the **** you want isn’t really Bills style.
IIRC this is what one of the posters in CF mentioned during recruiting time - that she us high maintenance and will want the ball everytime. She is an excellent player but she can wreck the team chemistry.
Another friend who is quite familiar with TOE program mentioned the same thing. Blunder basically handed the key to the team to her

I think what helps CC national recognition is she scored tons of points and she has huge social media followers. While our Ashley doesn’t have social media - you can read ESPn article about it.

Also, CC is an extremely elite shooter.. Ashley does everything well, but I'm not sure I'd call her overly elite at anything. As much as I'd love to hate on Clark, I just can't do it. Watching her shoot is just a fun thing to watch.

Was this before or after she then made her comments about unfair officiating I just saw on WHO-TV.
