That could be the case, but if we're talking wish lists when that hasnt happened yet, the pac 12 would reach out to KU first.
Have you followed the Pac12 Commish comments over the last week? More so, rumors of OU leaving were floated around last Friday. This news didn’t just come out today. The wish list isn’t preliminary.

First and foremost **** the east coast. After that the 8 teams in states that border the Pacific would likely form a division. So other than Arizona (6 months a year) our division games wouldn't be Pacific starts. Why does it matter when a football game starts? They're on Saturday.

Basketball a 9 30 game is over before midnight as long as WVa doesn't follow us and I don't watch Thuggins unless we're playing. Painful to watch games with no flow.

The most painful reality to leaving the Big XII is KC in March.

Leaving the Big 12 Tournament in KC would be terrible. But a PAC-12 tourney in Vegas over 5 days isn’t a bad consolation prize.

I also think people need to stop using TV eyeballs/geographic footprint/tv markets as such a huge thing. 10-15 years ago, yes. But cable subscribers have fallen by like 20M...it's just not as big of a deal for a conference like the Big Ten as it used to be. We aren't in 2010 anymore.

Agree. Not even 10-15 years ago, hell 3-4 years ago that was the deal, but the world has changed and things will continue to move away from geographic/regional TV footprint.

95% of the stuff on Twitter is fake and outrageous. Let's just all have a beer and wait for this to blow over.

Big Ten adds ND to the east and Iowa State to the west. KU, KSU, OSU, TT head to PAC 12. TCU and Baylor screwed. WVU maybe picked up by ACC or something.

This would be good for us. Especially in football because CMC recruits Big Ten territory very well.

not having a baseball team will limit ISU's opens.

WVU will either go ACC (if it can), independent like BYU, or maybe stay in watered down big 12 if some regional teams are added to reduce travel(cinn, Memphis, Uconn, and UCF and USF for recruiting).

ACC / B12 merger of sorts...

Acc drops wake, bc, Syracuse, gT, adds ND
Combine the 18 remain for an east / west divison

Great crossover basketball opportunities, while keeping a small football footprint with selective cross overs.

Pretty even football divisions.

East
UNC NCSU FSU MIA CLEMSON UVA VT DUKE ND

WEST
