I actually don't think it's Petras' fault. He isn't good but his confidence is clearly shattered right now, making it worse. They don't have anything around him however. He was screwed from the start.
They have a bad OL and LaPorta is the only reliable receiver he has, there is no one on that offense playing with any kind of confidence. It's a dumpster fire but Kirk and Brian are roasting marshmallows.the o-line isnt doing much for him either
There’s scuttlebutt out there that somebody representing Duggan reached out to Iowa but was told thanks but no thanks. That is from a b1g pod.I was baffled that Iowa didn't try to poach Duggan from TCU.

I actually do too at this point. He must be going through hell. As far as I know he’s not some cocky, blow hard POS.It had to be agony to do that so I feel for him.
Wow. When UNM's QB is beating you out QBR-wise, that's grim.
Their only hope for answers resides in the B1g W. 2-3 wins versus those teams will only be proof of how horrible that division is though. They are in a terrible spot offensively with no answers.
Here, you don't need to feel bad for him anymore.I kinda' feel bad for Petras. Yes, he looked horrible for most of the game, but his receivers did him no favors. At the end of the game he actually threw some very catchable balls that were not caught by his receivers. Not to mention it is on the coaches to replace him if he is not performing at an acceptable level. What is he supposed to do bench himself?

SDSU got constant pressure on Petras as well.Petras was on his back a lot yesterday and having his teammates help him up..... and ISU is a Big 12 team the last I checked.
