Can anyone give me a rundown of the whole HB saga? When did he come on our radar, did we know how good he was right away, when did we offer, when did the big boys come calling, ect.?

If I am not mistaken he was offered first by us when Barnes was a freshman.
Barnes was close to committing (read that somewhere) but was encouraged by his AAU coach (Sullivan at the time) to look around a bit. Then he blew up.
My stomach is in knots; don't know why because mentally I've been preparing for North Carolina.
Then I have to go a see the Betting Board and all my Cyclone homies drop 2.5 Billion on Iowa State.

We were the first team to offer him (I think) after his freshman year. I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing the big boys started calling after his sophmore year.
question now is....IF HB goes to Iowa State....what will the reports be concerning this??? Wonder what the meltdown would be all over the college basketball world
I'm assuming everyone here is an ISU fan and has been for awhile. Don't we know how this ends? He becomes a Dukie, wins a NC, stays for a couple years and becomes one of the greats all while Brackins tears an ACL, Gilstrap bombs, and Colvin transfers to Illinois.

Okay guys...nothing concrete here but I've heard this twice now so I thought I'd pass it along.
It sounds like Duke, KU and UCLA might all be out of this. According to two sources now, this is a three team race with Oklahoma being a HUGE wildcard.
I do not believe any of the six coaches know a thing. Obviously Bill Self has a hunch.
I said this in my VLOG yesterday but feel more confident about it this morning.
Why Oklahoma? HB loves the staff there. Just loves them.

I know lots of us have said on here that "I've prepared myself for him not to come to ISU...." but come on, how let down will most everyone on here be? how bad of a meltdown will there be? will people boo him at Ames HS games?
I'm not gonna lie, I expected this thing to be leaked by last night or this morning, even though he's been very tight-lipped.
That makes me think that it's true that he and his mother are the ONLY ones that know right now.

If that is the case, he'd wait until spring to sign OR he would have let ISU down months ago so we could all get over this and the kid could actually enjoy his senior year free of distraction.
