I've now seen him play 3 times this year and I thought this the first time, and still think it.
I don't see any reason why he couldn't be the next Jake Sullivan-type player at ISU. He's a great 3pt shooter, maybe not as good as JS but makes up for it with his ability to create. I don't know what the schollie situation is for next year, but if we're going to go into battle with 8 guys that can play, what's the harm in having him around?

Haven't you heard, we decided not to field a MBB team next year. Sent the letter of surrender to all our opponents this morning.

I think a guy like Wes would have helped us out a bunch this year.

When Scotty was sick we had no shooter. That cost us some games and it may have cost us a .500 conference record. I didn't think that then, but after watching him play healthy I believe that.

We could have had like 3 more players and still never sniffed the NCAAs.

Even when our team was full strength with Lucca, Boozer, JVB.. .we were still REALLY bad.

Scotty playing with mono was forgotten by many. Most players sit out a few weeks if they get mono. Kudos to him.

I will just comment that we never played a conference game with all of those guys, in fact we never played a whole conference game with any of those guys.

But we played Duke, , NW, UNI and Cal and lost all.

JVB and Lucca drained 9 3's NW and we still lost.

Lucca was here through the start of the conference season. Boozer didnt do anything in the games he played in this year vs decent teams, unless you like the 'he brings energy argument'

What game are you watching? This kid is nowhere near anything special. He has airballed everything.

We offered Alex Dorr for a preferred walk-on spot, after his less than stellar performance against Bishop Heelan in the 3A title game last year....

I think you're watching the wrong kid. He only had 11 tonight but had Barnes on him a good chunk. Avg'd around 24 for the year with a limited supporting cast.

That's right Lucca was here for two games. Sorry. I felt the team got better throughout the conference season. I just have a hard time believing that losing a starter, a post player that would have played some minutes, and a guard that would have played a significant amount of minutes doesn't make us a worse team.
