I've now seen him play 3 times this year and I thought this the first time, and still think it.
I don't see any reason why he couldn't be the next Jake Sullivan-type player at ISU. He's a great 3pt shooter, maybe not as good as JS but makes up for it with his ability to create. I don't know what the schollie situation is for next year, but if we're going to go into battle with 8 guys that can play, what's the harm in having him around?
Maybe he's a better 3 point shooter during the season? Because he wasn't in the tournament that's for sure.

I think the A league champions were led by Brian Peterson and some other assistant coaches this year so I don't think that would fly with the NCAA.

I didn't think current or former players were allowed to play the intramural sport they played for the university. So Bball players couldn't play bball, but they could play everything else.

There are a lot of Good Shooters in HS

The first question about Ingle has to deal with his defense. Could he do a good guarding a Jacob Pullen, LaceDarius Dunn, Donald Sloan or Avery Bradley? If the answer is no, end of story.

If ISU is going to sniff NCAA tournaments in the near future our level of defense has to improve a ton.

I think he could cover those guys better than JS could.

You are a terrible judge of talent. Maybe there is room for you on McDs staff.

Jake Sullivan Shouldn't be Your Benchmark

I think he could cover those guys better than JS could.

Jake was a quality shooter, but a liability on defense. Jake was fine in Wayne's zone, but he could give up as many points as score because he was a step slow. Like I said if a kid can't guard Big 12 talent- he probably shouldn't get a scholarship.

HAHA. Wow. How do you even compare this kid to JS? One thing; JS proved that he could play D1 ball. Secondly, that kid is so much slower than JS ever was. Last point; kid is nowhere near the shooter JS was.

How is this even an argument when this kid's not going to play D1 bball, ever?

We could have had like 3 more players and still never sniffed the NCAAs.

Even when our team was full strength with Lucca, Boozer, JVB.. .we were still REALLY bad.

We were never "REALLY bad" as you say. We were very competitive for the most part...just couldn't get over the hump.

we won less than 15 games again... thats REALLY bad.

I guess it depends what you consider 'good being'

Name 10 Big 12 guards (not including those 4 that you listed) that could do a "good job" guarding them...

That's again using the whole season argument...he was saying for those games that we had those 3...which I don't think we were "really bad"...what do you consider "really bad"?
