I'm a Red Raider, and yes, the NU secondary is suspect. The corners were lost when they played us--in Lincoln.
Without Suh, getting pressure on the QB will be hard. Without that pressure, like it happened during the Tech game, the DB's were beat frequently.
As much as it pains me to admit, I agree with you. Amukamara is the NFL's pre-season highest ranked pro prospect. His grade is higher than Suh's was last year.
Anyone want to place bets that Washington will beat NU and have 400-500 yards of offense?

So is it 400 or 500? Can I bet surrendering my dignity to this site (please, please hold me to it.) that no team will put 450 yards on Nebraska next year?
that's giving them a lot of credit. they aren't the 85 bears
NU did score 33 pts in the Holiday Bowl against one of the best defenses in the PAC 10 (yes that's an oxymoron) Not an excuse (should have developed more depth) but the offense was pretty banged up. I understand that you had many out with sickness for the NU game, and you overcame that and won. Kudos. The break before the bowl helped the Huskers get healthy and they performed well. This is what is fueling my optimism for this year. This time of year all fans should be optimistic.Did NU get an offense in the offseason? They were horrible.
I hope you beat the horn aggiesIf that happened. Wow. I still think it would be fun to trade one of those wins for a victory over OU or Texas. That would be historic, ESPN and the national media would have a hay day over that season if it happened for ISU.
Don't have time to respond to every post from an NU poster, so allow me to summarize:
1. No team can mitigate a loss better than NU. It seems that they NEVER actually get beat. (Well we held you to XXXX yards, blah, blah, blah). Don't pay attention to the score, because it doesn't really matter, unless.....
2. We've beaten you for 100 years, and then isn't that all that matters? I mean, yeah, ISU got 8 turnovers and won the game, but it was just a fluke, we're still NU and were relevant about 20 years ago. They will bring up some historical argument as if something that happened when the current players were literally in elementary school, or even born, has any impact on the game actually played in 2010 or the upcoming game in 2011.
When they don't have scoreboard, they bring up statistics like "we held you to so many yards", or "it took 8 TO's to win that game", but they rarely (if ever) mention the final score. As best I can tell, the score still remains 31 - 10 Tech. (What a great offensive display. I mean hell, your offense scored for both you and us.)
And while talking about great offenses, they don't turn the ball over 8 times. But if I give you the benefit of the doubt, and they are a great offense, wouldn't that make ISU's defense that more dominant. I mean, they did get 8 TO's on your great offense.
And while we are talking about 8 TO's consider this: If NU had 8 TO's surely we wouldn't hear about how great the blackshirts are. Surely it was a fluke. Right?
Yep, no one can mitigate a loss better than NU.
Nice screen name, cant wait to watch NU get their *** kicked every Saturday. Oh and good luck with you crappy QB!So does getting your butts kicked for the better part of 100 years make you delusional? It surely must. In all the times I've visited Jack Trice stadium that seems to be the state of mind I see the most.
So you win a game when 8 turnovers get handed to you? It's interesting, you must seem to think thats going to happen again this year. I can't believe with the level of talent you have comparable to anybody, much less Nebraska, that you would feel you could match up with teams other than the bottom half of the Big XII. I'm sure glad your coach and players don't think that or you'd be going 2-10 every year, not just every 3 or 4 years.
Wake up and smell the coffee. Know when you get lucky and know that you have a long way to go before you are on even Keel with the Nebraska Cornhuskers...
 Let the Entertainment begin.

I don't think so...Anyone want to place bets that Washington will beat NU and have 400-500 yards of offense?
Some of you Nebby fans are just begging for respect and attention. You lost to ISU last year.. Get over it.So does getting your butts kicked for the better part of 100 years make you delusional?
