The sad thing about it is that I don't see Tiller as much of a passer either. We need a more accurate passer to make this offense work. Tiller will get the starting nod next year due to his experience, but the passing offense will still be lacking.

whats wrong with being a hawk fan? I didn't go to school there, but i have the right to cheer for whoever i want. Hell, i know all of their football players, all their wrestlers. I've followed them for years.

Why cheer for a loser? (team) (I'd really like to know- because i don't want to switch. But this constant losing is seriously bad for a person. Its changed my life. Mild depression and constant frustration.

Nothing, go be a Hawk fan. But once the sun does shine on our ***** dont come back around here posing as a clone fan.

tell me why i should cheer for iowa state opposed to iowa. Just straight up, as if i hadn't been an iowa state fan since i was 7. As if i didn't get on CF every day for the past 2 years. As if i didn't have season tickets. As if my dad and i haven't been going to games since i was 7.

Don't tell me being an iowa state fan is tough. Being a fan shouldn't be tough. It should be fun. Winning is fun. I love watching iowa state win. But why stay when there is better teams out there? :(

Am I correct that since we used a win against NDState last year that the UNI game wouldn't count towards a bowl?
My understanding is that they allow one win a year to count since both FBS and FCS are now considered Division I.

Wait, didn't our former coach get destroyed on here for overlooking the home grown 'talent'?

What home grown talent do we have on this team??? Iowa gets all of the studs and we get the leftovers. No way should O'Connell, Mansfield, Sandvig, McDonough, and Knott be on the field at the same time. None of those guys had a major scholarship offer out of high school from a D-1 program except McDonough to Kansas and that was only because of a coaching connection

Watching the game today, I honestly felt the defense had 2 players that would get scholarships to a major program---Sims and Klein

Watching kNU against Washington.....kNU is going to absolutely shred our defense at JTS this year. They're up 14-0 already only 4:15 into the game.

You expect a rational answer to this? I doesn't make any god damn sense, but you do it because you are a fan. Go be a fan of another team...you are an awful fan, please do go away. Your logic is down right idiotic. Please, please, please...go be a Hawk fan.

To everyone else reading this thread, don't let this clown linger around here acting like an Iowa State fan. If he ever tries to act like one, be sure to call him out on it.

Arnaud needs to ride the bench this fricking offense scored a measly 13 points in a full 60 minutes...

Pathetic Cyclones Pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
13 points will not win very many games. It is time for changes.

Instead of helping DualThreat you guys are just taking frustrations out on him. He's asking questions, you're just not bothering to answer...

That's because he answered his own question. You remain a fan because you have been one since you are 7, because you were raised a fan, because you've been going to games since you were a kid, etc. Given a choice, very few would "choose" to be an Iowa State fan. There is not rational explanation as to why we all remain Iowa State fans but the majority of us do. The rest turn into bandwagonning d-bags...as evident by Dual.

i don't want to be a hawk fan. I want iowa state states football team to be like iowa's. But will that ever be the case? I've heard promises made by mccarney. Chizik. Rhoads. Will he eventually come through?

Im not leaving. Hate me if you want. I just want iowa state to stop losing, and every one on campus to stop being ok with losing. I want my roommates and their friends to stop wearing iowa shirts to the iowa game despite being iowa state students. I want iowa state fans to stop taking a back seat to iowa and everyone else. I want i want i want. And i cant afford to pay money extra money to the ISU, so i'll probably never get.

I don't disagree about our lack of talent, but who else would you put out there?
