Considering I'm going to be in the student section wearing Husker gear, I hope this rumor is false! Or I at least hope it's not going to be former high school pitchers chucking frozen oranges at me. I can handle a few things my way (considering I'll be in 'enemy' territory), but if I have to keep my head on a swivel for fear of getting tanked by a fruit, well, that will speak volumes to me about Iowa State fans. Oh, and I'm going with one of my friends who is a student at ISU, who's a Husker fan, so they'll be throwing stuff at one of their own.

Seriously, as someone else aready said, sit/stand on the hillside next to the student section if you want, but don't sit IN the student section. If you do, I really won't feel sorry for you if you are harassed. Any other section of the stadium and you would be fine being in your Nebby gear, but not the student section.

Not the case in 2001 when a couple CU students decided to sit in the student section. Again, I'm not in support of hitting fans with beer cans (empty, full, or just opened) but it will happen to you if you sit in the student section.

This will get you harrassed more so than wearing husker gear. If you stood there and just watched with a Husker shirt on, it wouldn't be as bad as if you are standing there jumping up and down, cheering for the Huskers out loud.

Just wear something neutral. Don't be that guy. I mean it is bad enough that it is nebraska but with the whole expansion stuff....there is no telling what could happen.

you're gunna get harassed big time. I went to the k-state game the last time it was home... Two guys wearing k-state gear took **** the entire game. Nothing was thrown at them, but it was pretty bad/funny.

Drunk iowa state students won't take too kindly to a husker in their territory. Especially when its 1000+/1 ratio

The Huskers haven't shown their opponents this same courtesy, I don't see why our students should.
