I thought the big guys showed some better form rebounding that we've been seeing for a while. They won't own the Big 12 in it, but they showed more potential for it than we're admitting so far.
If nothing else, they showed a desire to compete down there. But they'll have to compete with Jake, and he'll take the ball from anybody at that point.
McKnight can really get up quickly. His athleticism was fun to watch that way.
Godfrey seems like he has a body that will keep him in a matchup down there.
We looked a lot smoother than we have for quite a while. To me, it looked like we have some actual chemistry, and guys that like playing together, know where the others will be, and actually looked for each other, as well as playing some decent help defense.
It was Dubuque, but what I saw with those things is stuff that we haven't been seeing. Especially the chemistry. Whatever happens, we look like an actual team out there.
You mean, it's not "Give it to CB, get out of the way and watch, because even if he's triple teamed, he isn't going to kick it out"?
Refreshing. I don't care if we lose 20 games this year, as long as we lose them as a team.
