They were saying on the TV broadcast that in overtime, the winner of the coin toss has to choose offense or defense. The choice of wind/which end to defend is not an option on the overtime coin toss.
Ahhh - thanks for the clarification.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Very funny.make the Big XII proud.
Good Game Clones, nothing to be ashamed of today. You took the #7 team to the wire and could have beaten them. QUOTE]
Down to the wire? PAST the wire!
I am so depressed right now. My heart fell out of my body and still hasn't made its way back.
I agree. If you're going to go for 2 in that situation, run your best offense personnel out there. The way the offense had played in the 4th quarter I think you should just go for it with your best set of offensive personnel on the field. Arnaud is your team leader let him decide the fate of the game.
I'm not saying that it was a bad call, I just would have preferred an alternate one.

Go away.
Its to bad, perfect call and just had a bad throw.
Hope they can regroup for next week.
Apparently I'm in the minority here but I thought our playcalling, not just the fake XP, was what lost us the game. I can only remember one 3rd down play all game that we had a receiver running a route past the 1st down marker. And Arnaud threw a pick on that play. We should have used the wind to our advantage and gone for the win at the end of the game. We should have considered the wind and the fact that we were leaving the ball in the hands of a backup kicker when we tried the fake FG. I am very proud of this team and the game but this one feels like a giveaway.
