Johnson-Koulianos had pot, cocaine in system. Also had various prescription pain killers and muscle relaxers in his room:

I have been hearing rumors out and about IC that he was a fan of the white stuff... Never thought much of it until now... what a dumb a**

Can we allow THH back on here for a minute so he can tell me how crazy I was for suggesting there was more of a coke culture in IC than Ames?

And as far as DJGAY, I've heard from a lot of people that it's a pretty accurate moniker.

Im not going to side with kirk ferentz, but i will side with antwan.

How many times will you see Exhibit A drunk at a bar wanting to pick a fight with "THAT BIG STUD FOOTBALL PLAYER"

probably every week

Yeah, I agree. I have also seen a couple guys put someone in the hospital and hardly got questioned since there was a bunch of people there telling them the injured provoked the fight. That happens. I wasn't at the Allen fight so I won't pass judgement on that.

I liked the FB post "....Luckily it's easier to get a job in the NFL with these type of charges then it is in the real world". What a gem.

DJK just screwed up his chances....

To be fair, there are people who KILLED people and came back to play in the NFL.

He definately screwed any chance he had of getting drafted. He could still make it on to a team somewhere but he'll be playing for the minimum if at all.

And that's just assuming his story checks out that he wasn't actually selling. I'm not familiar with the typical punishment for first time drug offenders.

What exactly does it mean to "keep a drug house?"

It sure doesn't sound good.

Basically operating and delivering out of your house. As well as drugs themselves being in possession of supplies that aid in the distribution, scales, bagies, money etc.

some good quotes on the KCRG.com website. this is one of my favorites,

"Well thank god there in the insight bowl, and not a good bowl. they still will have a chance to win" that's keeping the glass half full.

Yes, but those people all have a lot more talent and are much better players than DJK. He was probably a 3-4 round pick at best. People aren't going to take the reach on him when they could reach for someone else without the background.

Don't know if this is already posted somewhere, but this is from HawkCentral:

Police said they found cocaine, small quantities of marijuana and pamoate, diazepam, hydromorphone hydrochloride and zolpidem tartrate pills in Johnson-Koulianos’ bedroom. Pamoate is one of the two formations of hydroxyzine, an antihistamine used to treat mild anxiety, insomnia, motion-sickness, itching and allergies and is known as an effective sedative and tranquilizer. Diazepam is used to treat anxiety, insomnia and seizures. Hydromorphone hydrochloride is a narcotic analgesic which Johnson-Koulianos allegedly told officers he takes to help with pain, according to police. Zolpidem tartrate is used to treat insomnia.

A regular friggin' pharmacy. And, sounds like his roomie is a real winner. Why would anyone with DJK's future decide to room with a guy like that?

If indeed it is his first time, and he has drug possession problems it could be pretty light. I imagine he will plead guilty and not do a lot of time. That is if he is not hit with a selling, or intent to sell or something like that.

Lots of community service, fines, probabtion, and classes.
Maybe under a year of jail time.
But all of this will depend on whether they have info on him distributing.

Oh I have no doubt he won't be drafted. I was saying that it's still likely he'll at least get invited to camp with a team (again assuming he didn't sell any drugs)

Even still, this situation cost him a couple million dollars (along with his reputation which given his ego, might be worse)

Awesome thing to do with your life, especially when you have just a few months before you graduate and maybe get a shot at playing at the next level. Ah well...

At least now fellow Hawk fans who were complaining about KF keeping a closed lid on DJK's twitter posting will finally shut up about 'letting kids be kids'. If only KF had kept a closer eye on stuff like this...

Do you REALLY think he was going to graduate?
