Sidney. The rodeo is a pretty good time. It's too bad that they couldn't get some better country acts to perform after the show on the main nights. I heard that they used to get some pretty big names.

I dated a girl who went to Sidney HS. She lived in Percival. I've heard many stories about the rodeo

I haven't gone through the whole thread yet so maybe this has already been brought up, but in northern Iowa where I am from there is a couple other towns in the area called Manly and Fertile. It's been quite a few years ago but I remember a heading in the local paper that word for word was ....."Manly man marries Fertile woman"........:twitcy:

About me?

born in Casper Wyoming
then to Phillipsburg Kansas
then to Farmington New Mexico
then to Britt Iowa from the 6th grade forward.

The 'Fertile woman' was my middle school math teacher.

Oh, and Wesley, IA.

Not too far away from where I grew up.

Milo, IA Southeast Warren school district

Lived in Bloomfield until I was 11.

I graduated from DCCHS in Bloomfield in 1968. Was your mother in that class?? Would like to get in touch with her if so. Lot of good Cyclones come from that neck of the woods.
