I'm sure the coaches took the most experienced qb we have and changed him to receiver before spring practice even started.

Am I the only one who think Tiller could surprise us all and not only be the guy next year, but be pretty good doing it?

I would be surprised. You dont normally bring a higly rated JUCO in if you are happy with the Qb's you have.

You normally don't hand over the reigns to a JUCO guy in March either. Besides, Tiller has is flak jacket on. He may be taking a few reps or something but I will gaurentee he hasn't switched to WR full time. I don't think he will either.

There's also this little thing called development. It playhs a little role in college football.

I never said Tiller switched to WR full time. I also never said Jantz won the job. But bringing in Jantz also says you are not sold on what you currently have.

Tiller is not moving to WR. Jantz was brought in for competition at the QB spot. I look at it as we now have two guys that could lead our football team at QB. I keep reading that we brought in Jantz because the coaches weren't happy with what we had at that position. I agree with this although I don't think it is Tiller they weren't confident in. I just don't think the coaches were ready to head into the season with the possibility of Capello or Barnett as backups or playing meaningful minutes if a injury to Tiller would happen.

JT is not moving to receiver. Barnett is not either. I won't
speculate on the QB competition but I can tell you it's not a 2-man race. All of Our guys will get a real shot to win it. You have to know that CPR is a man of integrity. He is not your typical big money coach that can just say whatever he wants to players and they will just take it. These QB's know that he is being truthful. As for confidence in the Capello or Barnett as your backup....that's your opinion. But, I think either one of these guys has the talent to lead this team. It's going to come down to which guy gets the other players to play for him. Remember we graduated our leaders at QB, RB, WR, and OL...each main position of offense. So, it's going to come down to leadership, decisions, discipline, dedication, and determination. You just cant annoint a guy because he may not develop what this team needs for thus offense to click. Everything runs through the QB so, he must be the "field general". CPR and Herman knows that and that's why these QB's are in an open competition. I hope we all can understand that and just wait and see and quit speculating or speaking negatively about any of the QB's. After spring practice, we should becable to get behind the true leader of our offense. At least we'll know that he possesses what we need to put a good product on the field.
behind the guy who is the true leader of the offense.

Well, considering they have no spring practices under their belts, and can't work out with a football, I'd say no decision has been made.

All I learned is that Farniok needs to cut that hair. I thought he teleported in from the 80s. McD looked fairly large and in-charge. I am hoping he takes charge in the spring and shows us the production we thought he would deliver coming out of HS. He was an absolute beast then.

You guys have lost it. Jantz is totaly going to be the man.....at DT. That's why we didn't need to recruit as many.

So we are wasting scholarships now so that kids will be pushed in practice? Nice.
