Defensively, he'll have issues guarding a guy like Kris Middleton from A&M or a JP Olukemi from Oklahoma State, but those are the types of guys he'll be matched up with (obviously not those guys, because they'll be gone, but that type of player).
At this point in basketball, I don't know that you can really label a guy as a conventional 3 or 2. Guys are essentially wings that lean more toward or away from a perimeter player. Abrahamson, though 6'7"-6'8" is more of a perimeter type. Ejim, at 6'5", who also is (allegedly) a wing, leans more toward the skills of a post player. The fact is, with some development, these guys are interchangeable and that is why they're valuable.
I'm of the opinion that you need multiple guys of variable skill between that 6'5"-6'8" range to give your team versatility on both ends. Conventionally, Kale and Ejim would both be labeled a 3, but obviously both offer different skill sets and different talents, and that is why you need multiple guys in that height range and skill level.
