How painful must it have been for JP to actually be quoted saying he likes the trophy? Probably similar to what it would be like having all of your fingers broken, one at a time.

Honestly, why not go with a giant combine, ear of corn, etc..? Would have been better:swoon:.

Ear of corn was my choice. Put the score of each game on a kernel. Both teams have gold as their secondary color, so making the trophy gold is perfect. And it still fits the sponsor perfectly. And it would have been unique, something like Paul Bunyon's Ax or the Jeweled Shillelagh (obviously not with that kind of tradition, but unique like those trophys, instead of the blah fest that we're getting).

Absolutely horrible. I don't know what the people were thinking when they chose that design. So many things they could have done and they chose that. They could have just had a trophy with the two men that the respective stadiums are named after, how much better would that have been? This has no relevance to the football game it was just a chance for whoever is sponsering the thing to push their agenda.
