This. Once again we have made ourselves a laughing stock. Even Nebraska and the ENTIRE south is laughing at us.

Ear of corn was my choice. Put the score of each game on a kernel. Both teams have gold as their secondary color, so making the trophy gold is perfect. And it still fits the sponsor perfectly. And it would have been unique, something like Paul Bunyon's Ax or the Jeweled Shillelagh (obviously not with that kind of tradition, but unique like those trophys, instead of the blah fest that we're getting).

Absolutely horrible. I don't know what the people were thinking when they chose that design. So many things they could have done and they chose that. They could have just had a trophy with the two men that the respective stadiums are named after, how much better would that have been? This has no relevance to the football game it was just a chance for whoever is sponsering the thing to push their agenda.
When they play next, whoever wins should just leave the trophy on the field and not even recognize it.
First thing that came to my mind- although I'm not sure if I'd even want it just lying around in Jack Trice. Someone has to carry that piece of crap out of the stadium. How bout we throw it to the bottom of Lake Laverne?
