Saw that "statement" coming a mile away. Nothing was going to move in the public's eye until TAMU officially left, and I doubt offers have went out yet.

Still, why even say anything if that's all you're going to say? It's not going to quiet any speculation, because BYU didn't even directly comment on interest in the Big XII.
We are still in a holding pattern seeing as aTm hasn't 'officially' left the conference as they have not been 'officially' invited/accepted in the SEC... Once SEC votes and aTm officially announced they are leaving the Big 12, then I hope we get a statement or two within 24 hours about who the Big 12 is adding to the conference.

At least they are excited about their affiliation with the West Coast. Really? I am also then excited for them.
We can at least officially start inviting 2 more teams to the conference considering we are called the Big-12 and should have 12 teams. Now if A&M leaves, then lets invite 1 more team to make it an official 12 team conference again.
With the Big-10 having 12 teams and the Big-12 having 10 teams is just stupid!!!!

I bet we'd get in over KSU unless KU really lobbied them.
Also, what's to say Mizzou is on the table, or the Big East wouldn't lose a team elsewhere?
