Don't want to go through the hassle of trying to link from my iPad but chip brown has column that says Pitt is still in play. He is hearing that vtech and sec talks are heating up and if acc steals from big east, it might also bring ND into play.

Don't think it is likely but chip is the voice for UT so they must still think it. I am sure Dodds and the ND ad have talked since they are reportedly close friends. So there must be something (even if small) to it.

I will say ECU is a better option than some others that have been floated around (SMU)

A guy from Pitt was on 1460 and said the Big East would add KU, KSU, and Mizzou in the expansion to 12, but no mention of ISU.

If KU and KSU are going to the Big East, that means enough dominoes have fallen so that either The Big Eat will need more than 3 teams to get to 12 or Missouri has landed elsewhere or both. I am not worried for one second about not being in Big East if Big 12 falls.

ECU: "Tower we are approaching."

OU Tower: "And?"

ECU: "We would like clearance to land."

OU Tower: "Well we'd like BYU."

ECU: "What?"

OU Tower: "Clearance to land DENIED."
How many eyeballs does ECU bring to the table?

These land grabbers/grave robbers should have been more serious in Jun instead of now. Jun was boring.
