This is why ESPN gummed up the works with $300M.If Texas doesn't have the LHN, they could leave for any other conference. They could go to the b10 and make MORE money than here. The LHN is probably the only thing keeping them here.

Correct. It's not as if Chip Brown is the only one saying this. Someone else linked a story in the NY Times I think it was that also mentioned KU, KSU, and Mizzou to the Big East. There have been many, many other articles too.
Usually when there's that much smoke, there's fire. Why don't you see us mentioned basically anywhere? That is a bit disconcerting if you ask me.
Time for another scenario
Let's say UT, Syracuse, UConn, Rutgers go to ACC
And OSU, OU, KU, KSU go to PAC 10
And MU, A&M go to SEC
That leaves ISU, Baylor and Tech. I think we all 3 go to Big East along with Houston, ECU and UCF. That would not be as good as I would hope, BUT it would still be a BCS conference and I stil think it has enough markets to give us a tv contract better than what we have NOW, but not what we would have had.
The divisions would be
WEST
ISU
TCU
Baylor
Houston
Texas Tech
Louisville
EAST
Cincinnati
South Florida
Central Florida
East Carolina
Pittsburgh
West Virginia
For BB, add
Marquette, Notre Dame and DePaul to west and move Cincinnati to west.
Georgetown, Villanova, Seton Hall, Providence and St. John's to east.
Maybe the LHON?But it appears that if OU and Texas stay, then no other team will be able to leave. Missouri has had a few dates, but apparently it wasn't good enough to get a ring. In Chip's article it says OU and Texas met again today, hmmm...to talk about sticking together? If they stick together, they will stay where they are. No one butA&M leaves if they stay, maybe it just prolongs the agony, but Texas and OU are strong enough brands to make their own way...
making way too much of the lack of mention imo, its like the last team in the former field of 64, fan support, travel, attendance, etc matter, Pollard has done what he needed to do to keep ISU up to par with the Jones with facilities, we are so far ahead of the the doomsday predictors its not even close, academically we were always there ISU gets picked for its brains not brawn, so when the lawsuits come from those that were left out - all the defense attorney has to say is "ISU is included, anymore questions"Correct. Baylor University || Baylor Nation || Don't Mess With Texas Football
Baylor Fans are embarrassed and worried now....
I swear to God, I hope someone is keeping all the worthless conference brackets posted on this site and holds the creators accountable for all the stupidity. There should be a flag next to their user name signifying "Documented Spewer of Worthless Information"
I would have figured JBH means you are better than anyone else? Thats how you prefer to post anyways... If I am wrong carry on.

If the Big East was hoping Villanova would move up to FBS to be their 14th team, I'd say they would take ECU, Houston, or just about anyone.
Their worry should be Pitt. If I was the commissioner, I would get every AD to call Pitt and tell them how much they love them. I don't know how the Big East makes it without Pitt. Beno Cook would no longer give Big East football any love on ESPN. (Is he still alive?)
Are you going to add anything to this thread or continue to troll?
I think it is fun to build scenarios like these. Do I think they will come true? No. If you don't like them, scroll past them. But most stuff on message boards could be included in the category of "Worthless Information".
Well it was the new York post. . . I love that paper, it looks like a tabloid. Great read when I am drunk at a bar. . .
But are they "Documented"?
I do scroll right past them. They take way too much space
Baylor and ISU are in a similar boat, historically irrelevant in Fball, at present they have their seneca and will make some noise but in the end will be happy to visit Shreveport, while others feel confident if it comes down to KSU, BU and ISU, ISU prevails...not so sure about that. I don't think it comes to that, but BU, KSU are more relevant thant ISU to most in Fball, KSU for its success with the before he was Old Snyder and BU for its location in Texas..Baylor "committed to the Big XII" and then goes on to talk about just wanting to keep Texas football together.
