It does not appear that Chris McCullough will be visiting this weekend, it is said that Arizona has really heated up their recruitment on him and we have likely lost touch with him (at least for now)...

@HoopsWindow reports that Iowa State took a visit to 2013 SF Byron Zeigler from Detroit Community today; Byron may visit ISU in the future

Mark Miller ( @WisBBYearbook) reports that Iowa State (presumably Hoiberg) used the 1st day of fall contact period to watch Matt Thomas in an open gym.

If that dude kid doesn't commit to us, it won't be because we didn't give it our all.

I am unsure who we had on-campus in regards to basketball recruits, perhaps some in-state guys? I know there were a few great football recruits that I'm sure enjoyed the game!

So it sounds like Terrence Samuel got in a fight in a game. The Playaz - South Shore game was stopped because of it. Other guy was 6'-9" PF: Neville Fincher. This was tweeted by Adam Zagoria.

I'll reserve my thoughts until the whole story can come out, could have been started by Fincher or could be the result of a game getting out of hand to begin with. No need to jump to conclusions yet on the kid...

Well it wasn't a good day for the two South Shore recruits (copied over from the ISURecruitLists Twitter:

2013 SF Shamiek Sheppard has been suspended for two games from the IS8 for a fight during one of today's games...

2013 PG Terrence Samuel has been suspended for the remainder of the Fall season from IS8 for a fight during one of the games today...

(one other player was also suspended for the year)

Watched Thomas again. Miller is starting to catch on that we (ISU) are stalking the kid the most.
