what you thought you knew now you don't. I find it interesting that Dukes Coach K wants to go to 16 but he wants to stay in the Eastern time zone.

As scared as I would be if im ISU,BU,KSU,KU,Cincy,UL,UCONN or Rutgers. Id be really scared if I was one of the 7 Big East schools that don't play D1 football

Not sure what they have to worry about. They likely form their own conference. Maybe they pull in a little less money without some of the other Big East basketball schools.

Hope GG and JP are burning the midnight oil tonight

One thing that gets lost in this...ISU is searching for a new president. You hope this realignment issue doesn't chase quality candidates away, and you hope that the new president has a firm grasp of what's going on. Not to mention understands the role of athletics in the college landscape now.

Add Texas Tech to that 1st list too.

And imagine if you're Georgetown/Villanova who is basically going to have to join up the BB big east schools with half the A-10. Think they're going to be pleased about that move?

I wonder if they have any pull with lawmakers being so close to DC?

9 Candidates have had preliminary interviews (in Minneapolis). (as of yesterday) The committee will narrow it to 5 then hold on-campus interviews.
