According to the NBC article, teams will still get plenty of opportunity to play in California. Play the other 3 teams in your pod, and 2 other teams in each of the 3 other pods. That's 1 game in California every year and 2 games a season against California teams.

That's a pretty reasonable solution for CU, UU, ASU, and AU.

Also, with the Colorado thing. I get that everybody has equal voting rights...as far as we know...but at the same time, I can't see 'the new guys' having as much or more clout than the 'veterans'...at least not initially. But who knows?

but..but...it's a conference where everyone is equal and has equal say...isn't that what OU wants??

Sounds like it is over.

Today and tomorrow could prove to be some sad days for Cyclone athletics. What makes me mad is the greed at hand here and how this all is just so corrupt, and the fact that so many less deserving teams reap benefits of some luck. Northwestern, Wazu, Vandy, Duke, Wake Forest. No way these teams should be in a Super Conference. Maybe we can land in a viable basketball league. Hope we can retain Fred. CPR, BF, and JP are as good as gone.

A little depressed right now.

Tired of this thread. Tired of being in the dark. Tired of millimeters of information whenever real news is released (you know tomorrow in TX and OK will be - we authorize possibilities be looked at and people to think about things)

Tired of the party line at ISU. Tired of being forced to watch EVERYTHING happen before we can really think about what we can do next.

Tired. Tired. Tired.

hills to flat lands
Unequal Tier 3 revenue favoring Texas. Yeah...that's a good start...:twitcy:

The PAC is offering NOTHING that can't be given to UT and OU in the B12. Ridiculous that it is even a consideration for them.

Agree, if Iowa State is left out with nowhere to go , I will give up watching college sports. I say we go out and take our frustrations on Texas and the rest of the Big 12.

So many people at fault here.

-Notre Dame for not joining the Big 10 years ago, and for making there own sweetheart deals on the side for dozens of years now
-Missouri for digging this pot all up last year
-UT, A&M, NU, OU for repeatedly not voting for revenue sharing
-ISU for putting out a ****** football product for the last 100 years
-UT for domineering power, deception, and corruption within 2 separate conferences destroying several universities athletic programs in the process
-ESPN for the greed and propaganda product they have distributed
-NCAA for favoritism and unfair rules enforcement forever
-Bowl sponsors and selection systems, for not putting a playoff system in years/decades ago

All of these same things were probably said by fans from SMU, Houston, etc back in the early 90's. This isn't the first time schools have been left in the dust. It just hits us hard because we're going to be on the outside looking in for the very first time.

Big XII survives or we are in the B1G

Pitt and Syr to ACC were the best things that could happen to ISU because it took Pitt off the table for the B1G.

I'm not worried.
