Anybody else hoping we get an early taste of late oct/early nov weather that night?

Looking at Accuweather, they have the high set at 76 degrees. Here is one time I am hoping that is dead wrong. I would love to have a 45-50 degree night, wind out of the north. Give us a little edge.

This far out they have no clue what they're talking about.

I love it. A full day of partying before the Big Event.

I hate early games because the non-die hard tailgaters and fans never seem to get up early enough for a full day of tailgating... now they have no excuse. GAME ON!

I'm pumped that I can attend this game. My football team plays in Pella at 1 p.m., so I should be able to make it up by kickoff!

This. National broadcast instead of regional AND in HD. Go Cyclones!

Is it national? Original post said FX Central so I'm just curious. I'm not really up to speed on the TV contracts. I sure hope it's national.

I think the cold favors us as we have more players from the north that have played in the cold before, but I think a windy game hurts us. UT's running game is better than ours with Malcolm Brown, Fozzy and their other RBs and I think Jantz and our Passing game is better than UT with McCoy and their WRs. So if it's windy and both teams throw less it's probably advantage UT.

I guess I overstated that a little. I am hoping just for a light wind, but enough that the wind chill factor starts to play a part in how it feels, making a 50 deg night feel colder.

Central probably means 6:00 pm Central time. Which is why I'll be turning my channel to the game at 7:00 pm Eastern time.

Well, the good thing of moving to the MWC is there will be more hotel options available. Ames, Nevada, and Boone are already full. Sounds like the crowd will ne pretty good.
