Beating #2 Oklahoma State will be the biggest win in team history if we can do it. No reason not to pack the house, dress warm and cheer loud ON SENIOR DAY. Here is a list of Iowa States senior class:

Matt Tau'fo'ou
Darius Reynolds
Kelichi Osemele
Leonard Johnson
Lattimer
Pat Neal
Hayworth Hicks
Earl Brooks
Anthony Young
Stephen Rump
Grant Mahoney
Ricky Howard
Te'Ran Benton
Ried Branderhorst
Darius Darks
Zach Guyer

and others as well

The guys in Bold i believe were Rhoads recruits
Pat Neal was a McCarney recruit

I am in, but does anyone know what the story is with A. young, he has not played this year, where he played a ton last year, I would almost think he will get a Med-RS....

I think if we beat OSU it'll be the biggest win in school history. Or if we beat OU on the road.

Beating OSU will not overtake 11/14/1992 as the biggest win in our history. It will be huge though

completely disagree. NU was ranked #7 and already had a loss that year while we were 2-7. In contrast to beating an undefeated #2 ranked OSU team where the win would also put us in a bowl game is a much more impressive victory. Don't let your NU Hate bias how much better a win next Saturday would actually be for the program.

Ricky Howard is redshirting and I believe he will return for 2012 as redshirt senior.

Yes it will. Beating a team that is 10-0 and ranked number 2 would be higher than a Nebraska win in the Walden era. If we were to win this would eliminate OSU out of national title contention which would be huge.

The highest ranked team that ISU has ever beaten was #7 -- 3 times.

1976: ISU 21 - Mizz 17
1985: ISU 15 - OSU 10
1992: ISU 19 - Neb 10

Considering OSU is on track for the BCS title game, televised nationally on ESPN, and it would get ISU bowl eligible I think it'd be much bigger than the Nebraska win in 1992. The '92 win over Nebraska was big but little was done with it as ISU finished 4-7 and Walden was gone 3 years later.

A crappy team beating a highly ranked team isn't the same as becoming bowl eligible by beating an undefeated #2 team on national TV. Not really even that close.

Double-edged sword, because that win meant Walden kept his job for 2 more seasons. Don't forget, ISU lost to UNI in 1992.

Won't overtake? It will lap it 100 times. Much bigger and more meaningful if it happens.

According to CF, we've been everyone's trap game.
