Can't wait for the raise and extension to come to shut this crap down.

Maybe Rhoads doesn't want a raise? He seems to always stress the importance of improving facilities and the impact they have on recruiting. He may want that extra million we are saving to go to facilities to get us there just a little faster. Rhoads doesn't strike me as a person who cares about money. Winning and developing young men seem to be most important to the man, which is what I respect most about Coach Rhoads. And even as a lower paid BCS coach, I don't think he is hurting for money.

They may be interested. He isn't leaving. If he does, I have found a new team to root so hard against.
If Rhoads up and left this program, would I be wrong in being more ****** at Rhoads for leaving than Chizik?

Certainly is a possibility.

I've lost faith that a raise and contract extension will keep a coach; maybe for an extra year. Any good coach can be bought. Houston's Sumlin got a raise and huge extension one last year; and they have a lot of money.

[How do we know a raise has not been give or an extension been give. Jamie does a lot of things with out asking fans what they want. I guess some Hawks on this site are not happy. I wish they would take away all the $100.00 of 150.00 season tickets and raise everyone season tickets by $100.00. We would than know who the fans are.

Arizona Republic's possible candidates:

http://http://www.azcentral.com/sports/asu/articles/2011/11/28/20111128asu-football-head-coach-candidates.html

No Rhoads mention. The only place I saw this was a tweet from Samatha Steele. Jake Knott & Josh Lenz tweeted her back & her only response was "lol". I think she was just having some fun with people.

Let's not freak out at every possible mention. I know that's hard for some of you, but just try not to.

I wouldn't mind having a little fun with Samantha.

If that's wrong then we both would be wrong. Rhoads has shown to much passion for ISU and said too many things to lead us to believe he will be here a long time. If he left, IMO, everything he has said would be a farce and I would feel like we were used. It's not just the winning that is making his name pop up. It's the type of coach he is. It's the type of emotion he shows that really translates to college sports, especially at ISU because you have to find something to make up the talent gap. In our case we do it, for the most part with passion, emotion and intensity. I would feel like that was "faked", for lack of a better term, while he was here if he left so soon for a place like ASU or Illinois. If it were Alabama or Florida or Ohio or something like that, I may not feel that way. You can do as much at ISU as you can at Illinois or ASU and with the new money coming in, you can make as much. It would break my heart to see him leave and yes, I realize that is somewhat pathetic.

Channel 13 talking about this. I know we don't need another thread on CPR Leaving, but I got to wonder where the smoke comes from on this? Why would channel 13 report this on the news?

They said there were rumors ASU is interested in him. Are rumors news?
Just because they are interested does not mean they will offer and he will take it.

I don't see it as pathetic. This is a guy we've all bought into because of who he is. Most of us would be crushed if that happened.

But I don't see it, not for these schools.
