Does anybody have Niang's stats from this year? I remember hearing a about a game where he knocked down a few threes, but I'm curious how many/what percent he's hit this year...

It's nice to have a post that can stretch the floor. JVB, Booker, Niang?

That said... I also like having my post players rebound well, which can be tough as I hear rebounds generally don't hang out downtown.

Well, regardless of whether he comes to ISU or not.....who leaves or who stays....who is on scholarship and who isn't....I for one am very content in knowing that:

a. we have a coach who won't underestimate what type of player to recruit
b. will not be blindsided half a dozen times a year by players who are wanting out of Ames so bad they thumb a ride
c. has no problem from time to time letting winning get in the way

Quincy plays a unique style of game though. I hate Whithey and Page. Something about Page's face just makes me want to punch him.

haha same here, page is a little gremlin. And dont get me wrong, Acy is a tough SOB... I just cant stand when he does his demonstrative grunts and screams and yells after he dunks and stuff. "GRRRRR YEAAAA I DUNK BASKETBALL DURRRR" (thats what i imagine him saying)

He's long, quick on his feet, and has nice hands for a big man. Reminds me of Kelvin Cato, and we know how much the rest of the league liked posting up in the paint with him on patrol.

Kelvin Cato is probably the main reason i'm a Cyclone fan for little other reason than we have the same last name (no relation)... and he could pin about any shot to the backboard! hope we can get this guy. he looks good!

JVB couldn't stretch the floor. You have to be able to shoot the three AND play in the post to do that. He did one of those but NOT both.

Disagree. Just need to pull the other teams big man to the perimeter. That creates space down low for guards to work.
