I would say good chance Tavon Sledge and Jordon Railey will transfer, Naz Long is doing everything he needs to to get here I think he is fine. And If Pelle signs we could be very very good next year. That would be very deep talented team. You add Kory Lucious and Will Clyburn and Royce knows he is a year away. he is projected as a middle second round pick he will not leave for that and could be a top 15 pick in 2013 if he continues to improve and gets a mid range jumper down.

If Royce was a legit 6'8 or 6'9, could make 65 percent of his free throws, and had a more polished back to the basket game I would take him in the top 15

Long and Niang will definitely be here, no doubt. Okoro hasn't said or done anything to make me second guess him. Dorsey-Walker went from tweeting daily to never tweeting all the sudden (not since Jan. 7th) so it's hard to tell what's up with him. However, all 4 players have a deep passion for Iowa State basketball. The only way one wouldn't make it is if they weren't eligible. Long is eligible, he just didn't come this semester for unknown reasons. He may have wanted to stay home for another semester, or Fred may have said wait a semester so we can give Bubu a scholarship. Who knows.

Dang, I love it when a random msg board poster uses his "feelings" to give his $.02 on who won't be here next year.

I don't remember which coach was interviewed or which station it was on, but the coach specifically mentioned SDW, Niang and Okoro for the future. He didn't mention Long. I think it was Matt Ab...? I thought it was odd at the time, but thought it was just an honest mistake. Still could be.

First I have heard of this.

There have been interviews where they have referred to Long as a recruit that they cannot name due to him not signing a LOI (they have not been consistent in this). There was also an interview where a scholarship pg was not included in the prospectus for next year.

Previously they were allowed to talk about him because he signed a financial aid letter. I am unsure of how that changes since he did not make it at semester as had been previously planned.

Since the letter of financial assistance was voided by not enrolling, they simply cannot talk about Naz until he signs a LOI in March.

Ah, makes sense. I thought it was strange they didn't mention him? I hope all of the 2012 recruits make it in, next year. I'd be ok if the scholly came from a certain un-named player on the bench, only if it was mutual.

Rumor is that Norvel is impressed with Hoiberg's NBA connection and Iowa States turnaround

quote from Jon Rothstein...CBS writer

- "Former St. John’s signee Norvel Pelle will visit Iowa State this weekend for the Cyclones game against Baylor. Sources say the 6-foot-10 Pelle is intrigued by the idea of playing for a coach with NBA ties in Fred Hoiberg and has also noticed that Iowa State is a program on the upswing. The Cyclones already have 21 wins this season, including 11 in the Big 12 heading into tomorrow’s game at Missouri."
