Why the hell weren't they building up some more defenses? I'm going to assume that zombies can climb over barbed wire fences, but what about about 20-30 sets of trip wires around the perimeter of the house and barn to slow them down. How about you bring an excavator/back hoe to the farm and dig a vertical moat around the buildings to make sure you're not over run. They have 50 cows running around the farm, are they just going to lose 1 every couple of days? Is the house/barn easily defendable, do they have a secondary egress? They started with one bag filled mostly with guns and the remainder in ammo, how much more ammo can they possibly have left after all the shooting they've done in the last couple episodes? Seriously people, holy crap this isn't rocket science. End Rant.
It would be nice to have a day counter when they move forward in time, I have no idea if they've been on the farm 3 days or 3 weeks at this point.
As far as the gentlemen who brought up the sword earlier, I've considered purchasing a sword in the last couple weeks.

I was just saying to my wife last night that the Hyundai doesn't fit his personality.
Works great if you want to bang a chick in the front seat after some exhilerating zombie killing, though.
I don't get people who want spoilers, most of the time I don't even watch the next weeks preview. Knowing what's going to happen takes all the fun out of it.
You just need to modify the Soylent Green people scooper and make it a zombie scooper/smasher!

Sad to say that I am in the same situation except for I do not have the will power you do and broke down and started watching a couple weeks ago...I figure I will go back and watch the previous episodes after next week. That or try and watch the marathon on Sunday (which will be really hard with March Madness).
That's awesome! Fits perfect, and they should have played that in the scene for real. LOL.
Just watched the most recent episode, and this was exactly what I thought of during that scene. Thought a couple of them were going to have to pull one person off the zombie just like Office Space, as well.
The cast and writers keep saying that there are no characters that are safe. There is no way that they'll kill off Rick. Those of you complaining about Carl, you might as well get used to him, because he's not going anywhere. The only way I see Carl getting killed off is if they want to puch Rick over the edge.
Whatever it takes, the kid sucks.
My excitement for this next episode rivals my excitement for the final Sopranos episode. This show is so good.
I think you just nailed it. It's not so much the character that annoys me it's the actor. He is terrible.
