I would hope that our players are more focused on their next game, than they are tweeting/prognosticating about who is going to win the 2nd half of other games today.

Maybe they are, but I hope they are not. I am not on Twitter, so I can only find out from others or from sources like last night. Show a little self control & keep a thought like that to yourself. Just dont git it

What's this Twitter thing? I'm rooting for Bama regardless because I picked them in my bracket.

For the poster who's asking, the point guard for Creighton, last name of Chatman I believe tweeted that "Lamb is gonna bring them back." The tweet was shown on the halftime show.

Speaking of dumb tweets. Did anyone catch the DJK tweet last night? He said something about "wow ISU beat OSU and Iowa in football and now UCONN in basketball, looks like the world is coming to an end."

I'm rooting for Bama.

I have two brackets going (one paper, and one electronic) and I picked Bama in both.

I do a lot of my bracket picks out of spite. My brackets usually suck, but I don't care.

Roll tide. And it isn't even because of Mcdermott. It's because of their starting point guard and his lame tweet. You'd think at least Doug would be rooting for Bubu and that might tanslate over to the rest of team.

I don't want McDoormat winning in the tourney to be seen as some sort of validation of his coaching ability. Someone somewhere would see it as GM being a good coach and that it must have been some fault of ISU that he did not succeed here which is complete BS.

GM was put in a crappy situation to start out, but he failed miserably in turning it around. Look at what a first time coach in Hoiberg was able to do to turn around the team. With GM it always seemed like a wait until next year. Wait until we recruit players for the system. Blah blah.

Almost every time GM got a good player, that player left. He lucked out and Brackins stayed that extra year. GM NEVER had a complete team. We either had starters and no bench or we had a couple good players and the rest of the starters would have been better off the bench. He waited a few years too many to change up his style and try and recruit athletes instead of MVC style players. It was too late at that point.

He was completely out of his element in the B12 and should never have left the MVC.

Someone should have tweeted back, "Nope, that's just your career."

I gotta disagree here. The rift between DG and Brackins wasn't ever going to let a team with both players be successful.

That and there's no defense on that roster. Yikes.

At very least shouldntve been a team that finished near the bottom of the conference. Maybe not a tourney team, but at that point you can say 'GMac shouldve had at least one tourney team that many years in'

You don't think Fred could have increased the chemistry? That is one of the main jobs of a HC. Fred did it with transfers, he could have done it with that team.
