"Wisconsin transfer Jarrod Uthoff will visit Iowa State on May 3-4, will make decision shortly thereafter per report from @jeje66"

IMO it sounds like he will be committing here "shortly thereafter." So now we need to ask, who would ISU rather have Lockett or Pelle??

Pelle, but I'd rather have Pelle AND Lockett. Oh well, if we get 2 of the 3 I'll be happy. In Fred I Trust

Norvel Pelle, it's a no brainer if it comes down to these two fighting for the final scholarship.

If Pelle decides on ISU later on in June (and for sure is eligible), take all 3 by sending Uthoff to MCC for a season. He can still spend plenty of time around the ISU program at MCC while playing for one season instead of sitting out for two straight seasons.

Pelle and for me it is not even close. Lockett or Uthoff? I think I would go with that Lockett. I'm not that excited about Uthoff. If he comes here then I will try my best to be excited. I trust Fred though.

Pelle, if he is able to come. I think he is going to commit, because Fred wouldn't be on him this much if he didn't want to come here.

He redshirted this past season at Wisconsin so he has four years of eligibility left. Since he was a qualifier out of HS, he could play one year of JUCO ball and still have 3 years left at ISU. Getting the rust off at MCC next season might be better for him than sitting out another year at ISU.

Problem is pelle won't know for a month or so, guessing lockett and JU will want to decide in the next week - if those two want to come here, I guess cfh won't turn them down for a small chance on landing pelle

I don't think there's a small chance for pelle, there still recruiting him.
