I agree. I have a feeling that is why Pelle isn't visiting until later. Fred probably soft sold him on coming later "after he gets his academics in order". By then Fred will know if he has a scholly available to offer Pelle.
Not sure who I seen at Northgrand mall with Royce White and assistant coach Matt a few days ago. Sure looked like Pelle. Thin and about 6' 8" anyway a little taller than Royce. I looked around to see if this has been reported but couldn't find anything. They all ate at Flame @ Skewer. Just wondering????????
That would be my guess. In the highlights Clyburn looks like a throwback 70s NBA player. Long, lanky, and smooth going to the rim.

SDSU just had a scholarship open up because a player left; coincidence?

Rumors of Alec leaving have been floating around for months. It became obvious that there was going to be an announcement at the end of the semester. Alec was a good kid but got limited playing time and then at the end of the season got no playing time. Remember, last year SDSU only had nine scholarship players with a handful of walk-ons and one of the walk-ons got more playing time than him. We have 12 scholarships filled next year where the 12th man could start for many teams in our league so Alec would have got zero minutes next year as the 13th man. So Alec leaving doesn’t mean Pelle is coming but Pelle would be the only one who would get that open scholarship.
Fisher did attend one of Pelle’s AAU games in Vegas which tells me we’re still interested and hoping. All things still point that August will be the earliest anyone will actually know anything.
