All ive heard about legends is bad things. I've never been personally. Though i think they had dollar burgers and beer some night of the week?

The food was terrible the only time I went there. Lean Cuisine's have better tasting food.

I've had decent experiences at their Pleasant Hill location, although it's nothing to write home about. It's right on par with your standard sports bar/family eatery type places. The one in Ames, however, suffered from its terrible location. Restaurants like that make their money on the business lunch crowd and family dinners. The top floor of a building loaded with college students and bad parking does not lend itself to their target demographic. Put it on the East side of town and it would have done much better.

How awesome would it be for Hickory Park to open a new restaurant there?

I'd put a White Castle up there.

I only went there a few times and was never really impressed.

I think Hooters would make a killing there.

I don't know if we need students going quests to satisfy their desire for White Castle Burgers. Although it might be fun to run see NPH in Ames once in a while.

If they put anything up there it should be a clonecone research lab/marketing department.

The only thing I liked about Legend is the view. Any restaurant with halfway decent food should do just fine.

Plus how awesome would it be to have a giant hooters sign on the building? People would call it the hooters building instead of its real name.

Hooters will be out of business soon thanks to Twin Peaks. I think their opening one in Ankeny.

Twin Peaks >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hooters in every way imagineable. Especially the food and the uniforms.

Never heard of them. Either of them.
