Chad Ford also just put out an insider article on day 1, here is just a very brief quote with a lot more details for those Insiders -

"But the star of the interviews was Iowa State's Royce White. Not only did he shine in an on-camera interview with ESPN's Andy Katz during the draft combine broadcast on ESPNU, but a number of NBA teams reported being spellbound by White's interview."

Sullinger must have put some lifts in his shoes or something. Him and Robinson were the same height without shoes but Sullinger was 1/4 taller in shoes. Interesting that Barnes is 6'8 in shoes Didn't think he would actually be that tall.

So...Royce is done with the combine? I'm working from home today and turned this on in hopes of seeing him...

Man his hands are gigantic even compared to other players. Also, anyone notice Festus Ezeli is 6ft 9 and has a 7ft 5 wingspan, holly crap.

Terrence Ross has 3.2 bodyfat? Is he still alive? I question how they are measuring this, that is lower than most body builders at competition time.

LOL that was my thought too. That low of bodyfat is touching where the amount of bodyfat on you actually becomes dangerous and has health risks.

Right, I would question how any of them are below 6-8, I understand that with african americans its easier to be at a lower body fat but anything below that is practically impossible unless you are on some extreme cut in which you certainly wouldnt have the energy to be running around for hours a day playing bball

Yeah, but some of them only work out. I would probably question anything below about 5.5 or 5 with some of them but others I might question 6-8 too. It's ridiculous. Terrence Ross should check whether he's fertile anymore :jimlad:

The ISU community knew he'd nail the interviews.

LOSERS

3) Jeremy Lamb - He sat next to Bradley Beal on Thursday morning, watching the shooting guards who elected to participate in the combine, and looked as though he would have rather been anywhere else. Lamb has talent, but he always appears disinterested. According to sources, it carried over to the interviews as well.

----

4) Tyler Zeller - He measured as a legit 7-footer with sneakers, but the most important stat for NBA guys isn't pure height -- it's standing reach. Zeller has short arms and his standing reach was 8-foot-8 inches. By comparison, Royce White -- who gives away more than four inches to Zeller - has a longer standing reach.

I don't understand how the difference between without shoes height and height with shows varies from player to player. Do they measure them in the same shoes? Why wouldn't a player just bring shoes with really thick soles to the combine to be measure in?
