I will add a show. Greys anatomy. Never saw it once, but the sexual inuendoes mentioned in the promos were vomit inducing. The creme de la creme was when this dude was at the door with a towel on and the chick's line was "I need your John Han...****"

It's okay to dislike the office. But if the opinion is post-Michael Scott then try a few of the older episodes. (especially season 2). But if you don't like it you just don't like it, to each their own.

Yeah I feel that some don't like the awkwardness or the stupidity. I guess I wouldn't judge the series on the last season though. It use to be one of my favorites and now I feel it is just meh.

I really like Big Bang theory. No offense to any of the haters, but I think that the more math/physics you've taken the funnier it is. As a grad student in a hard science, I find that the show hits a very genuine cord and that many of the science jokes are hilarious.

If you're not a big math/science guy and have never had any friends who are DEEP into sci-fi, I can see where the show would seem irritating.

Gotcha. So Big Bang Theory is a great show unless you're stupid and don't have any friends. lol

Seinfeld is one show with a laugh track that I like. Part of that is because it was before networks had started to remove the laugh track from sitcoms. If Seinfeld was being made today, it probably wouldn't have one (see Curb Your Enthusiasm).

How I Met Your Mother was a good show when it started (despite the laugh track), but it has gone on entirely too long. I've kept watching on Netflix because its sucked me in to the point where I feel like part of me needs to see who that whiny ***** marries, but its gotten ridiculous, played out, and its obvious that the writers are just stalling on wrapping the series up because its a cash cow. There's a very true saying that sort of applies to How I Met Your Mother: "life is like a B-grade movie; you wouldn't want to watch it twice but there's no way in hell you're going to shut it off halfway through".

Big bang theory is awful.

Every 5 seconds it's like "HAHAHA it's funny because they're nerds!"

Anything on MTV (if this hasn't been said already...)

I used to like Big Bang Theory, until the show became more about Sheldon's one-liners and less about everyone else's stories.

The Simpsons. I've probably watched all of 5 episodes (and the movie) since 2000, but anything made since then has been total ****. Seasons 1-8 were absolutely genius, but it's astounding how ******** the show has become. It makes me sad that there's an entire generation that probably has no idea how great this show used to be.

Groening said he was running out of ideas for new episodes...two or three years ago.

I'm one of those humanities guys, but I'm surrounded by grad students from various disciplines. I find the general nerdiness funny without the hard science background.

Probably knowing that I have a lot of Sheldon in me can make it uncomfortably funny, but I just pretend that I'm nothing like him.

So I love the Big Bang Theory without the hard science background.

Anything involving Tyra Banks. Anything with "Real Houswives," "Jersey" or "licous" in the title. Anything on MTV. Anything on the CW. Speaking of which, have you seen that 2nd rate morning show they do. My God they should be embarassed. Most things on NBC or Fox. Sportscenter. Honestly. I haven't watched a non-ISU Sportscenter highlight in a long time. Anything with Chris Berman. Guess who has two thumbs and won't be watching the Home Run Derby. This guy.
