My first trip to Twin Peaks

Ya know, at some point ya gotta say something to someone instead of crawling back to a message board to beg for a boycott. Maybe that server is just bad.

I did say something. Sent them an e-mail to their customer service center. Told them about the sub-par service I received. Also told them that the atmosphere of that location is less than welcoming to anybody who doesn't cheer for the Hawks. Just thought I would share the info with the public. I would do the same thing if I walked into a place that was wall-to-wall Cyclones and gave me great service. I would be on the forums telling Cyclone fans that it's a great place to go watch a game. You can do whatever you want with the info.

Well the fact he let them know about the server is good. But once ranted on about the rest I'm sure they just thought he was ****** about the hawks stuff and deleted the email. So you are Probley right.

Just an update, got my e-mail reply today;

"I would like to apologize about your recent visit to Twin Peaks Des Moines location. I would like for you to know that your experience was not what we deem as acceptable PEAKS service. I appreciate your feedback and will use it as a training and coaching opportunity with my management team. It is feedback like yours that continues to help us develop our staff and continually strive for the ultimate PEAKS experience.
As far as the college football situation, we were testing out the waters to see what fits in this market, and by no means are we trying to alienate anyone, as we would like to have everyone come in and enjoy a memorable experience. Because of this feedback, I have reworked our college football Saturdays to prevent any future problems similar to this.
I would like the opportunity to make it right with you on your next visit and offer to send you gift card for you to use at your discretion. If you woul send me your address, I will make sure that it gets sent out to you immediately.

So for those of you who said it was "stupid" or "embarrassing" for me to complain, not only do I get a free meal out of it, I have possibly made it so that a Cyclone fan can go watch a game there without being surrounded by a bunch of Hawk crap. You're welcome.

Seeing those pictures, they definitely could use some balance. West Des Moines especially has plenty of cyclone fans, so having everyone in hawk gear may not be the best thing.

We weren't necessarily saying that going straight to email the manager was a 'wrong' thing to do, it just seemed like an overstep if you didn't really attempt to get it corrected at the time.
